Genuine FBI Carry Case For Thompson 1928 Submachine Gun Police Tommy Gun SMG
This is the real deal, NOT a reproduction. These were made by a variety of furniture makers and other subcontractors. These came in different dimensions and sizes per whomever was doing the ordering (police, FBI, etc) so there is no cookie cutter blueprint on these. This one features a black faux? Leather exterior and chrome plated corner protectors showing some rust, blue felt lining very nice albeit dirty in spots, also has original brass cleaning rod, one brush along with a key for the lock. Cleaning rod snap works and is intact. All exterior latches work and are marked USA Excelsior, Stamford, Conn. Main lock has rocket type logo on it and works. As expected, the felt is dirty and shows signs of wear along with small rips inside from drum magazine and other use. Reserve has been decided and set only after speaking to a few other experts.
