Very Nice German Prussian Imperial Officer Sword
This is a very nice example of a German Prussian Imperial Officer’s Sword that dates from the early 20th Century. It is mounted with a slightly curved plain blade that measures 32 1/8 inches in length which remains in nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The lovely gilded guard features an intricately detailed oak leaf pattern along the backstrap and has survived in nice condition with all of the gold was still present as well as frames a beautiful composite covered hilt with its twisted wire wrap still securely in place.
