Russian Soviet Shashka Sword Model 1927
Although complete, this is an example of a Soviet Russian Cossack Shashka Sword P 1927 that is now in relic condition. It is mounted with a slightly curved blade that measures 30 3/4 inches in length which remains in poor condition with heavy pitting near the tip however continues to wear some markings as well as is dated 194? The hilt has a grooved wooden grip that remains healthy and tight and the brass fittings are now deeply patined. The wooden scabbard is metal fitted, also in poor condition but is still mounted with its rusted Mosin-Nagant bayonet. Overall measuring 38 1/8 inches in length.
